Brewers shortstop Orlando Arcia will happily steal your ice cream

If you’re looking for a team to get behind during the second half of the season, look no further than the Milwaukee Brewers. Not only are they surprisingly good — it’s July and they’re still leading the NL Central — but they’re a lot of fun too.

Take Saturday’s game for example. In the midst of beating the Marlins 8-4 at Miller Park, shortstop Orlando Arcia found time for an on-field ice cream break after chasing a foul ball down the left field line.

Smooth, Orlando. Real smooth.

We call that taking a page out of the Prince Fielder playbook. Remember the time he took a bite out of some unsuspecting fans’ nachos in the middle of a game?

Then again, Marlins manager Don Mattingly might say both took a page out of his book.

Any way you slice it — or perhaps in this case, scoop it — it was a fun moment.

It’s possible Arcia even got a little energy boost out of it. His next time up he capped the Brewers scoring with his seventh home run of the season.

Needless to say, if you’re at Miller Park on Sunday and you see Orlando Arcia anywhere around, it might be a good idea to guard your ice cream.
