Brewers 'Dumb and Dumber' parody gets two thumbs up from Jim Carrey
The Milwaukee Brewers hit another home run this week with their promotional video recreating the famous hitchhiker scene from “Dumb and Dumber.”
The video was so well done, it even got two thumbs up from the film’s top star, Jim Carrey.

The hilarious video depicts starting pitcher Brent Suter as Carrey’s Lloyd character, reliever Jeremy Jeffress as Harry, who was originally played by Jeff Daniels, and Josh Hader as Joe Mentalino, as they drive around Miller Park in a bullpen cart.
Of course, in the original film the scene takes place in the unforgettable Mutt Cutts “Shaggin’ Wagon.” The Brewers went with the bullpen cart because the video is actually promoting their June 17 giveaway of replica Brewers bullpen carts from their days at Country Stadium.
Check it out.

Let us just say that we hope the response to the video leads to a future giveaway of Mutt Cutts replicas at Miller Park. That would be epic. It also might be more realistic after receiving Carrey’s nod of approval.
Ahhh Milwaukee…where the beer flows like wine! I gotta admit, when I saw this Dumb and Dumber tribute from the Brewers I was tickled stupid. @bruter24: you got some comedy chops or a severe behavioral disorder. The difference is negligible. Spank You Kindly, guys! https://t.co/PgNy0e1Gu6

Needless to say, Suter was quite thrilled that Carrey had seen and enjoyed the video.
Oh my goodness thank you! And it's definitely the behavioral disorder my wife told me I've been practicing for that video my whole life, which I have! I'm a huge fan, thanks again!

If you’ve never seen Dumb and Dumber, or it’s just been a really long time, here’s the original scene, annoying sounds and all.
Just as the Brewers did in their homage to “The Sandlot,” we’d say they nailed it.
Now we can’t wait to see which classic film they take on next.
