Brett Eldredge ‘Connects’ With Beloved Grandfather on ‘Hollywood Medium’

Country music star Brett Eldredge invited Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry to Nashville in hopes of getting some closure over the death of his beloved grandfather Shirley Eldredge.

Tyler was able to “connect” Shirley with Brett and open up some communication between the two. Brett had always felt bad about Shirley’s passing because he had died alone from a heart attack.

Tyler told Brett, “The way that I want to describe this is he didn’t need anybody to hold his hand when he died. He wanted to go alone; he didn’t want family to have to see this process.”

While Brett was relieved to hear Tyler say that, he was even happier to hear, “Your grandfather, he’s so immensely proud of your career. I know this might sound a little strange, but he is, like, taking a little bit of credit.”

Brett seemed to be genuinely glad that Tyler helped him reconnect with grandfather and learn that he is watching over him. While trying to keep from getting emotional, Brett said, “You know, there really could be something that’s helping me through all this and, you know, being carried with me every day onstage.”

Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on E!

Ryan Lochte thanks his grandfather for helping him win a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics:
