Breaux Bridge police chief shoots himself in the leg, sustains minor injury
ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY) — Breaux Bridge Police Chief Albert “Buz” LeBlanc was hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself in the leg this morning.
He sustained the injury during his annual qualification at the St. Martin Parish firing range in St. Martinville, authorities said.
According to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office, the injury was sustained at 9:30 a.m., and LeBlanc was treated and released from the hospital.
