The Breathtaking Winners Of The Sony World Photography Awards

The overall winners have been announced for 2016′s Sony World Photographer of the Year Awards - the world’s largest photographic competition. The L’Iris d’Or Photographer of the year grand prize was won by Iranian Asghar Khamseh for a powerful series of portraits of acid attack victims. The competition received an astonishing 230,103 submissions this year, and winners were chosen across 14 professional categories. An exhibition of all the winning and shortlisted works will go on display at Somerset House in London from 22 April - 8 May.
