It all started when actress Louise Linton, the wife of Steve Mnuchin, posted a photo of herself stepping off a government airplane with her husband.

She tagged her high-end wardrobe, which included a $10,000 Hermes Birkin handbag, Hermes scarf, Roland Mouret pants, Tom Ford sunglasses, and Valentino shoes.

The comments section erupted with criticism, but one appeared to really set her off.

After a mom of three from Oregon wrote, “Glad we could pay for your little getaway #deplorable,” Linton fired back with a lengthy reply.

“Lololol. You're adorably out of touch,” she wrote. “Thanks for the passive aggressive nasty comment. Go chill out and watch the new game of thrones. It's fab!”

Moments later, she deleted the post and made her Instagram page private.
