AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Auto parts supplier BorgWarner on Wednesday provided a 2013 earnings forecast in line with Wall Street's expectations.
The Auburn Hill, Mich., company expects earnings between $5.15 and $5.45 per share.
Analysts polled by FactSet forecast $5.22 per share.
Revenue is expected to climb by 2 to 6 percent.
BorgWarner Inc. anticipates an rise of about 1 percent in global light vehicle production and a 3 percent decline in European light vehicle production.
The company's stock rose $1.77, or 2.4 percent, to $75.40 in afternoon trading. Over the past 52 weeks the shares have traded between $60.17 and $87.45.
