Boost and Impact grant applications now open at community foundation
The Lawrence County Community Foundation is now accepting online applications for the 2023 Open Grant Cycle, according to a news release. There will be $100,000 available for Boost and Impact Grants which fund charitable programs and projects that serve the residents of Lawrence County. Over $30,000 is also available for programs and projects that benefit specific causes such as parks, disadvantaged children, and senior citizens.
The 2023 Open Grant Cycle awarded 34 grants totaling $129,250 to Lawrence County groups and agencies including Mitchell Community Schools, Junior Stars Football Program, Lawrence County 4-H Council’s Horse and Pony Club and Superior STEAM, and Hope Resource Center.

Grantseekers are strongly encouraged to watch the videos posted on the Lawrence County Community Foundation website prior to applying. The videos highlight the details of this year’s grant cycle, how to navigate our online grant application, and tips for submitting a competitive application. First time Grantseekers must register and be approved to apply; applications must be submitted before 11:59 pm on April 16, 2024, to be considered for funding.
Nonprofit organizations recognized by the IRS as having 501(c)(3) status, educational institutions, and governmental entities are eligible to apply.
