Crews are working to restore the line to service and this story will be updated when the city provides more information.

The Angelina County Fresh Water Supply District 1 has also issued a boil water notice for the Cedar Grove area following the water line break.

During a boil water notice all water for drinking, cooking, or bathing should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil for at least two minutes before consumption in order to destroy any potentially harmful bacteria.

The district said they will notify the public when the notice is no longer in effect.
