ST. LOUIS SOUTH COUNTY – The boil order has been lifted in St. Louis South County after a water main break on April 25th. The incident forced the early closure of four schools and prompted a precautionary boil water advisory. Missouri American Water customers are no longer required to follow this advisory.

The water company announced on their Instagram page that “the precautionary boil water advisory issued for parts of unincorporated South St. Louis County has been lifted. Normal water use may now be resumed. Water samples tested from the affected area confirm that the water meets all federal and state regulatory standards for drinking water.”
