Boeing acquired the campus after its merger with McDonnell Douglas and opened it in the late 1990s as the Boeing Leadership Center. The property is still registered under the ownership of the McDonnnell Douglas Corporation, per St. Louis County records.

According to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch report in 2020, the campus closed indefinitely as one contractor for the site, Aramark, laid off 81 employees.

SkyFOX, powered by Bommarito Automotive Group, flew over the property on Friday for a closer look at the property up for sale. FOX 2 reached out to CBRE for comment, who then referred an email to Boeing, who declined further comment.
