Body of St. Paul man missing since February found in Willamette River

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The body of a Marion County man who was reported missing in February has been located in the Willamette River.

According to the Oregon State Police, the body of Gurjinder Singh Grewal was recovered on Wednesday at 10:37 a.m. by a fisherman in the river between Oregon City and West Linn.

In a release, authorities said “there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the recovery at this time.”

Grewel’s family was notified Wednesday evening by OSP.

The investigation is ongoing, officials said.

Grewel was last seen on February 8 walking on the Willamette River Bridge around 10 a.m. His car was later found on the south side of the bridge near Highway 219 between Newberg and St. Paul.
