Body found in Salley, SC identified as missing 52-year-old man
A body found in a wooded area off Hunters Branch Road in Salley, South Carolina has been identified as a 52-year-old missing man.
The body was identified as Calvin L. Edwards, 52, of Salley, who was reported missing on May 8, according to a news release from the Aiken County Coroner's Office.
An autopsy conducted Monday in Newberry determined Edwards' death was due to natural causes, according to the release.
There is still an active investigation being conducted by the coroner's office and the Aiken County Sheriff's Office.
