Body found in front yard in Walton Hills: Police

WALTON HILLS, Ohio (WJW) – The Walton Hills Police Department is investigating a reported homicide after a body was found in the village Monday morning.

Officers were called to a home on Sagamore Road just after 9 a.m. for a possible dead body.

When they got there, officers found an unresponsive male in the front yard, about 40 yards away from the road. First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

As of Monday afternoon, Walton Hills police said they haven’t identified the body. They are waiting for more details from the medical examiner’s office.

The medical examiner’s office told FOX 8 the death is being investigated as a homicide.

The state Bureau of Criminal Investigation is also helping with the case.
