Boaz Gilad's Brookland Capital has snatched up a bunch of plots of land at the corner of Fourth Avenue and 15th Street in Park Slope. And the prolific developer is planning to—what else?—build condos. A 13-story building will house 45 of 'em, according to Gilad, which will add to the 46 projects he already has rising in the borough. The architects will be Roart, and 20 percent of the units will be affordable. With all the new residential projects going up, Fourth Avenue just may outgrow its "canyon of mediocrity" moniker.
