Blue Blaze Brewing closing its doors after 8-year run in Charlotte’s West End

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Another popular brewery in the Queen City has announced it is closing up shop.

Charlotte’s Blue Blaze Brewing will soon pour out the last pint. After eight years in the business, they’ll close on March 10.

“It is with a heavy heart and a profound sense of disappointment that I have to announce the closure of Blue Blaze Brewing at 528 S. Turner in March,” owner Craig Nunn announced in a post on social media over the weekend.

“Over the years, we’ve poured our passion, creativity, and dedication .. our blood, sweat, and tears into crafting exceptional liquids and fostering a vibrant community of beer, music, and outdoors lovers.”

The brewery is located right off the Stewart Creek Greenway. Catawba Brewery and Weathered Souls both recently announced they’d be closing down, too.

“If you’d like to join us one last time to camel up, save the date for the weekend of March 8-10th for one last safety meeting farewell. Stay tuned on our socials as we share some things planned for the weekend, but, more importantly, as we take a walk down memory lane.”
