BLOTTER: Police reports for May 8

—ARREST: Three family members were arrested after a disturbance in the 5600 block of Frontier Avenue at 6:07 p.m. Thursday. The 29-year-old man and 23-year-old and 59-year-old women were charged with disorderly conduct, harassment, resisting arrest, second-degree assault and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Police said the man "grabbed his Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts gloves" and threatened to fight them and place one officer in "a rear naked choke hold." The younger woman is accused of interfering in the arrest, punching an officer in the face and grabbing his genitals "squeezing them and causing substantial pain." The older woman is accused of yelling obscenities at police and neighbors.

—BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 400 block of 18th Street. A male victim told officers that sometime between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and 11:38 a.m. Thursday, someone broke into his garage by unknown means. The victim said a variety of tools and tire rims, valued at more than $1,350, were taken from the garage.

—BURGLARY: Police are investigating a burglary in the 2000 block of 18th Street. A female victim told officers that sometime between 1:20 and 4:15 p.m. Thursday, someone broke into her home by kicking in the front door. The victim said a PlayStation 5 game system and a camera were taken from the home. Significant damage was done to furnishings and other items in the home.

—ARREST: A Buffalo man was arrested after a purse-snatching incident in the 800 block of Portage Road at 7:31 p.m. Thursday. The 62-year-old man was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and possession of burglar tools. He is accused of taking a woman's purse from her shopping cart inside a nearby store. The suspect, who reportedly had been wearing a wig to conceal his identity, was seen running from the store and throwing the wig away. Witnesses said the man fled on a bicycle, being chased by the victim and others before police were able to take him into custody.

—ARREST: An Appleton woman was arrested and charged with stealing the vehicle of an Uber Eats driver after it was left running in the area of 16th Street and Ferry Avenue at 12:20 a.m. Friday. The 34-year-old woman was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The male victim said the woman got into his car and drove away as he was dropping off a meal. The driver was ticketed for leaving his vehicle unattended while the engine was running.
