BLOTTER: Police reports for May 16

May 16—ARREST

A Lockport man was arrested after an incident in the 1800 block of Pine Avenue at 10 a.m. Sunday. The 60-year-old man was charged with disorderly conduct. Police said the man was walking into and out of traffic, with a red pipe, and asking people for money or coffee.

THEFT

Officers are looking into a series of thefts from a property on Old Falls Street. A director of the property told police that "once a month, a few individuals come into the arcade there and break into the bubble hockey table and steal money." The thefts have been photographically captured by security cameras. Police say they believe they have identified the suspects.

ARREST

A Falls woman was arrested on drunken driving and other charges after a multi-vehicle crash in the 600 block of 17th Street at 2:53 a.m. Monday. The 23-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated, second-degree assault and second-degree obstructing governmental administration. She is accused of striking four to five cars and leaving the scene of the accident. The woman told police her cousin had been driving her vehicle and had run from the accident scene. Officers said as they attempted to take the woman into custody she fought with them, punching one officer in the face.
