BLOOMFIELD — The Bloomfield Drama Club presents "The SpongeBob Musical" at 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, and 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the Bloomfield Performing Arts Center, 21 Oakmount Ave.
What's 'The SpongeBob Musical' about?
When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world.
With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up.
Who is involved in the Bloomfield spring musical?
The Drama Club announced that 79 middle and high school students are involved in this production in the cast, various crews and pit band.
SpongeBob is played by senior Kevin Decker. Sandy Cheeks is played by senior Riley Rzepka. Patrick Sea Star is played by junior Katie Evans. Squidward is played by freshman Avery Newstead.
The musical is directed by Sarah Williams. Music direction is by Laura Mohr. Costumes are by Judy Holton. Sound design is by Roger Blackington.
How much are tickets for 'The SpongeBob Musical'?
Ticket are $10; $8 for seniors and students if purchased online. The cost is $11 or $9 for seniors and students at the door.
