“As president, he devoted little time and effort to developing and sustaining a coalition of centrists, which doomed hope for any real progress on illegal guns, immigration, tax reform, job creation and deficit reduction,” wrote Bloomberg. “And, rather than uniting the country around a message of shared sacrifice, he engaged in partisan attacks and has embraced a divisive populist agenda focused more on redistributing income than creating it.”
“Twenty-twelve Bloomberg basically attacked Obama in that column for supporting all of the policies that 2020 Bloomberg now supports,” noted Dan Pfieffer, who also advised Obama. “What a world!”
This was a Hoot !
In 2015, the Times reports, researchers at the Center for American Progress turned in a report on anti-Muslim bias in the U.S., which included about 4,000 words on New York City police surveillance of Muslim communities. Bloomberg, because he was the city's mayor, was mentioned a handful of times. But when the report was published, the chapter was gone. A spokeswoman for the policy group, said the chapter was removed for editorial reasons, but Yasmine Taeb, the author of the report, said there was fear about how it would be perceived by Bloomberg. An email reviewed by the Times also shows at least one official wrote that there would be a "strong reaction from Bloomberg world if we release the report as written," and three people with direct knowledge of the situation reportedly confirmed Bloomberg was a factor in the decision. We may as all face facts that neither side represents us well. But in Trumps defense, and something all of you should really be concerned about, is the only reason Trump has been met with such resistance and venom is because he is not part of the establishment. That means that going forward, we the people will only be able to vote for the "establishment" if we want to see a "normal functioning" government, as opposed to an absolutely chaotic one. We should all fear that kind of disobedience in our chain of command. It doesn't speak well for either party to constantly attack a man and his family, and try to rig things against him, especially the leader of our nation. I feel the president has a right to investigate crimes against him from his opponents during the election process, and if anyone running for president is suspect of doing something illegal, the investigation should be treated fairly for all, including the likes of Biden which are so blatantly overlooked. Can you imagine being the leader of a nation, voted for by the people, and have every news outlet against you simply due to partisanship, constantly pumping out mistruths and deception? Not to mention the establishment holding you, and only you, to the smallest degree of each and every law ever written? That's not right and it's something we all should fear.
Ultimately, the American people will decide about Trump's guilt or innocence ___not the kangaroo courts we watched on TV.
There was never any real evidence other than hearsay. The phone call itself never had any kind of evidence in yet liberal news reporters acted like it was the holy grail.
Love the people crowing that Bloomberg is a “real billionaire” while also complaining about income inequality and the influence of the 1% on politics.
Thank you Mr. Associated Press, Bloomberg News, HuffPost, Politics, Yahoo News, Business Insider, Guardian News, But I'm voting for
In backing Obama, the mayor hailed the President's support for abortion rights and for same-sex couples. But the endorsement was less-than-ringing.
"Like so many other independents, I have found the past four years to be, in a word, disappointing," Bloomberg said. "In 2008, Obama ran as a pragmatic problem-solver and
consensus-builder," the mayor continued. "But as president, he devoted little time and effort to developing and sustaining a coalition of centrists."
He added, "Rather than uniting the country around a message of shared sacrifice, (Obama) engaged in partisan attacks and has embraced a divisive populist agenda focused more on redistributing income than creating it."
That ad portrays Obama as endorsing Bloomberg for President even though it technically never says that - Obama may or may not be pleased about it.
Obama did not publicly support gay marriage until May 2012, at the urging of Biden and First Lady Michelle Obama. At the time, the commander in chief was concerned about losing support in his reelection campaign from African Americans and Latinos who identified as religious.
To see Bloomberg's ads you'd think that He was Vice President and not Biden.
wait...what? I assumed from the commercials that Obama endorsed Bloomberg.
So Bloomberg is going to be in the Democrat debate for the first time. Will the moderators ask him about his past comments regarding farmers, young minority males, misleading ads featuring Obama or will they softball him like they do all of the other candidates?

Claims? More like appropriated. He is running adds showing him sitting with and obviously imparting great wisdom to then President Obama. The add stops short of claiming an endorsement - but it is clearly implied.
Does Bloomberg know that Obama endorsed Hillary last time? She's still walking in the woods thanks to that endorsement.
Bloomberg doesn't realize that Obama is a big reason why Trump was elected.
