Blood Orange, Angel Olsen, Stephin Merritt to Play Tibet House Benefit

Blood Orange, Angel Olsen, and the Magnetic Fields’ Stephin Merritt are set to perform at the 31st annual Tibet House Benefit Concert. They will perform alongside special guests Philip Glass, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, the Resistance Revival Chorus (who played alongside Kesha at the 2018 Grammys), Rhiannon Giddens, and Tibetan folk singer Techung at New York City’s Carnegie Hall on March 3. Uma Thurman, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, and Arden Wohl will serve as honorary chairpersons. Tickets are available via Carnegie Hall’s website and at the box office. Last year, Patti Smith, Glass, Iggy Pop, Sufjan Stevens, and Laurie Anderson were among the artists playing the benefit. The Tibet House also celebrated Glass’ 80th birthday.
