Our Blood Institute opens new donor center in Broken Arrow

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (KFOR) – Our Blood Institute announced on Monday that its newest donor center is now open.

According to OBI, the donor center is located at 850 West Mission St. in Broken Arrow. The center will offer a convenient place for residents to donate blood. OBI is also focused on the current demand for blood products and reserves for emergencies and treatment.

“Our Blood Institute is dedicated to serving the needs of our communities by providing a safe and steady blood supply,” said Dr. John Armitage, Our Blood Institute president and CEO. “The opening of our new donor center in Broken Arrow reflects our continued efforts to expand our reach and impact.”

Officials say the Broken Arrow center will follow strict guidelines to ensure the safety of staff and donors. Anyone interested in donating can make an appointment at OBI.org or visit the center during operating hours.
