(PORTLAND TRIBUNE) — There had been rumors and some reports of the collaboration happening, and now The Dandy Warhols happily can announce something.

When the Portland band’s new album, “Rockmaker,” comes out Friday, March 15, it has a song that features the iconic star singer of Blondie, Debbie Harry. The presence of Harry only adds to the appeal of “Rockmaker,” which also features collaborations with Slash, of Guns N’ Roses fame, and Black Francis of the Pixies.

Columbia CEO Tim Boyle sounds off: ‘If we can’t pick up trash, what the hell can we do?’

The lead singer for The Dandy Warhols, Courtney Taylor-Taylor, couldn’t be happier with Harry sharing her talents on the album.

Harry sings on the song “I Will Never Stop Loving You.” You can hear it here.

Taylor-Taylor said the band had the song’s dynamics ready, it only needed a singer.
