Katherine Webb captures AJ McCarron’s wild reaction

During his four-year career as a starter at Alabama, we witnessed a wide range of emotions from quarterback AJ McCarron on the field. Fiery enthusiasm in moments like the spat with his center Barrett Jones were juxtaposed with humble celebrations upon winning back-to-back National Championships. So, from the Barcalounger at home, it might seem tough to pinpoint what actually gets McCarron going — until you've seen him beat a video game from his couch.

Thanks to Katherine Webb, McCarron's girlfriend who became a household name during the broadcast of his 2013 BCS win, we now know what happens when AJ beats UFC Undisputed 3. Virtual insanity. On Thursday, Webb posted an Instagram video informing the world that her beau had finally conquered the game after four days of trying, and his reaction is priceless. With some equally jazzed buddies on hand to join in the accomplishment, you would think he'd just won another national championship judging from the pure joy, and high-pitched screams, on display. Thank you, Katherine.

More storms in North Carolina

Winter weather last week in North Carolina caused the Duke-UNC matchup to be postponed, but there were no shortage of storms when the arch-rivals finally squared off eight days later. After the streaky Heels upset No. 5 at the Dean Dome Thursday, fans stormed their home court to celebrate. Shortly after the 74-66 victory, they also stormed Franklin Street in Chapel Hill to continue the festivities.
