Eagle Cam: watch eagles hatching live

Cute baby animal alert! Eagle-eyed viewers of the Decorah, Iowa, Eagle Cam have spotted the first of three eggs beginning to hatch. Congratulations to the new mom.

Talk about reality TV: Wired reported that thousands have been glued to the feed, watching for more signs of the eagle event, called a pip.

According to Wired, a bald eagle hatching can take anywhere from 12 to 48 hours to come out of its shell.

Over in captivity at the San Diego Zoo, viewers are getting an eyeful of a newly hatched baby condor. While we may have missed the big event, which happened March 10, there's still time to vote on a name for the chick.

Watch and then say it all together: Awwwwww.
