A couple in South Carolina are redefining what the phrase "in sickness and in health" means. A man known only as Chad was driving in his car on October 18th, the day before his wedding to his fiancée Holly. Chad lost control of his car, it flipped over, and he ended up in a watery marsh. The groom miraculously made it out the car. He then walked 1.5 miles back to his home, all the while with a fractured vertebra! Chad says he thought of his soon-to-be bride Holly the whole way home.

Chad's doctors told him he would not be able to attend his wedding the next day, but that was just not an option for him. So, Chad and Holly were married bedside while wedding guests watched from a live camera displayed on a screen at the reception hall. Bridal photographs were even taken as Chad laid in his bed with his tuxedo draped on top of him. Holly decided the party must go on. After the ceremony, she joined her guests and partied the night away. The images below chronicle the couple's story and are getting a lot of attention around the Web.
