The anticipation from Apple lovers over the new iPhone 5 has been huge, and at midnight on Thursday, the phone became available for pre-order. People are so excited about the mega-popular device's new features, like the fast Internet speed and the phone's lighter weight.
Knowing how huge this new release is, comedian and late night television host Jimmy Kimmel decided to conduct an experiment. If people were shown an iPhone 4S and told that Kimmel had gotten his hands on the new iPhone 5 early, and they could see it and touch it, would they believe him? His team took the iPhone 4S to the streets to see what happened.
One guy took the phone in his hands, held it for a few seconds, and said, "Oh, it's way better. It's definitely noticeably better." Another participant said, "it's a little thinner. It looks like the screen's a little bigger." In fact, the consensus was that the new phone was very updated and a lot better.
The video already has more than 3 million views on YouTube. The real iPhone 5 will officially start shipping September 21.
