The newest face of Old Spice isn't so new to the world of advertising. Remember Fabio? The man who couldn't believe "it's not butter," from

the 1990s commercials? As Old Spice's new face, Fabio's got some big shoes to fill. The deodorant's last series of commercials was one of the mostsuccessful social media ad campaigns of all time. Old Spice's "Smell Like a Man, Man" commercial starring Isaiah Mustafa went viral last year, getting almost 34 million YouTube views. Mustafa's acting career has taken off, and now Fabio will star in four new Old Spice commercials of his own (including one prominently featuring his golden locks made famous on the covers of 1980s romance novels). Old Spice hopes social media lightning can strike twice. Fabio has his own Old Spice YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. (Who wouldn't want to follow someone named "NewOldSpiceGuyFabio"?!)

Old Navy is being sued by Kim Kardashian for using an actress that she says looks like her in its commercials. The reality TV star claims the clothing company is cashing in on her image by using actress Melissa Molinaro in its ad (which has more than 2 million views on YouTube). In a statement, Kardashian's lawyer said her "intellectual property rights" were violated. On Twitter, Old Navy even pointed out the resemblance, saying "Breaking News!! @CBSNEWS reports that Old Navy's Super CUTE star looks like @kimkardashian. #LOL. What do you think?" Looks aren't the only similarities between the two women. Kardashian's doppelganger is reportedly dating NFL star Reggie Bush, Kim's ex-boyfriend.

A Canadian woman has just paid $10,000 for a piece of art. That's not unusual, and people have paid more for art. But this piece comes from actor James Franco's newest project: the Museum of Non-Visible Art (i.e., it's invisible!). The buyer is a self-proclaimed "new media producer, artist, model, and host" named Aimee Davison. She paid the $10,000 for the piece named "Fresh Air" on Kickstarter.com, which is a social media-oriented fundraising site. In exchange, she will receive a card describing the idea of the piece (which is an endless supply of air). In a Huffington Post interview, Davison said, "The act of purchasing 'Fresh Air' supported my thesis about a concept I term 'you commerce,' which is the marketing and monetization of one's persona, skills, and products via the use of social media and self-broadcasting platforms, like Franco's use of the crowd-funding platform Kickstarter to fund the Museum of Non-Visible Art. Essentially, I wanted to put my money where my mouth is." Perhaps Davison also wants to publicize some of her own projects, like her "One Hundred Jobs" endeavor where she completes 100 jobs for a minimum of $100 each. (One of those "jobs" includes selling her soul on Craigslist for $100.)
