Brad Paisley Uses a Fan's GoPro Camera to Play Guitar

Brad Paisley has been in the news quite a bit lately; from his Westboro Baptist Church selfie to his upcoming ABC show "Rising Star." The country star is also on tour, and an impromptu afterparty following one of his shows is the latest reason he is trending online.

Paisley and fellow country rockers Charlie Worsham and Randy Houser walked into Joe's Pub after a show Saturday night near Chicago. The guys decided to keep the music going and hopped on stage to jam. Mike Perlof had a front-row view and filmed the performance with his GoPro camera.

And then Paisley decided to offer him an even more unique view. The singer, who has 22 country No. 1 singles to his name, grabbed Perlof's GoPro and used it as a slide while he played guitar.

"It was the perfect storm because I happened to not have my case on my GoPro which would have made it nearly impossible to play slide guitar with the camera at that angle that Brad got," Perlof wrote on the YouTube post's description. "Not to mention passing the camera without skipping a single note and throwing it back to me perfectly."

Perlof published the video on Tuesday of his experience, which he calls "the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me at a live show." It currently has more than 200,000 views.

"Insane!" he said. "Its [stet] magical moments like these that make live music."

Paisley's tour continues throughout North America until October. "Rising Star" premieres on Sunday, June 22 on ABC.
