The TicketVP debate/economy: Biden: ‘I’ve never met two guys who are more down on America’
As Thursday night's vice presidential debate moved into economic issues, GOP vp nominee Paul Ryan blamed the administration for failing to improve the economy while simultaneously driving up the national debt.
"I've never met two guys who are more down on America," Biden responded, in an unusually harsh retort. "They talk about this Great Recession as if it fell out of the sky. ... It came from this man voting to put two wars on a credit card. ... And now, all of a sudden, these guys are so seized with concern about the debt that they created."
