Mitt Romney's presidential campaign unveiled a smartphone app Tuesday that it plans to use to announce his choice for a running mate, and it appears Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, one of the contenders for the job, already downloaded the app to his iPhone.

Rubio, the only candidate Romney has confirmed is undergoing the vice presidential vetting process, urged his followers twice on Twitter to download the app to be "the first to find out."

"Who will be [Mitt Romney's] VP?" Rubio asked.

It sounds like Rubio may be as curious as the rest of us.
