TAMPA—Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will campaign in Florida this Friday before heading to Ohio on Saturday to attend a football game at Ryan's college alma mater.

According to the Romney campaign, the presumptive Republican nominee and his vice presidential running mate will hold a rally in Lakeland, Fla., just outside Tampa on the morning after Romney's speech to the Republican National Convention.

The Romney campaign has announced no further details about the GOP ticket's post-convention schedule.

But in an interview with ABC News/Yahoo News' "Newsmakers Live" at the RNC Tuesday, Romney pollster Neil Newhouse confirmed that Romney and Ryan will travel to Oxford, Ohio, where they will watch Miami University, Ryan's alma mater, play rival Ohio State University in their college football season opener.
