Rick Santorum’s Michigan speech: ‘A month ago they didn’t know who we are, but they do now’

Rick Santorum finished second to Mitt Romney in the Arizona and Michigan primaries on Tuesday. He addressed his supporters from Grand Rapids, Mich., after Arizona had been called for Romney by the Associated Press, but before Michigan had been called.

Santorum praised college education and, citing his mother as an inspiration, women working outside the home. He also derided current energy policies and their effects on middle America, saying, "Bureaucrats in Washington don't care about flyover country and those sparsely populated areas that provide us the resources upon which we live."
