Obama, Romney trade jokes on president’s 20th wedding anniversary

During the first question of the night, President Barack Obama paused before answering to note that it is his 20th wedding anniversary with Michelle Obama.

"I promise we won't be doing this in front of 40 million people next year," Obama said.

When it was Mitt Romney's turn to answer the first question on the economy, he also began by congratulating the Obamas on their anniversary. After praising the first couple, he added his own little spontaneous joke, creating a slightly awkward moment.

"I'm sure this was the most romantic place you could imagine, here with me," Romney joked.
