Obama campaign is now selling birth certificate T-shirts

Who said "birther" conspiracies about President Obama wouldn't be a 2012 issue?

Obama's campaign sent an email to supporters Wednesday offering T-shirts and coffee mugs featuring a photo of the president above the slogan "Made in the USA" as well as an image of his long-form birth certificate in exchange for a donation to his re-election effort.

"There's really no way to make this stuff completely go away," Juliana Smoot, Obama's deputy campaign manager, writes in the email. "The only thing we can do is laugh at it--and make sure as many other people as possible are in on the joke."
