President Bill Clinton could have been facing the spray tan of his life, according to his recent conversation with Rachael Ray. The former president told Ray that "Dancing With the Stars" contacted him to see if he'd be on the show.
Clinton said he does have an interest in building up his dance moves. "Just last night, Hillary said to me, 'You know, when I'm not secretary of State anymore, we should go take dancing lessons.' So we'll start with the tango." But ultimately Clinton decided to turn down the opportunity.
"I told them I didn't have the time to train for it. You know, you actually have to go out there and you train. You really work at it. So I had to pass," he said.
"But I think it's a hoot. And I have a 92-year-old mother-in-law who watches it religiously, and she knows more about popular culture than Hillary and I do," Clinton added, referring to Hillary Clinton's mother, Dorothy Rodham. "She knows more than her granddaughter, Chelsea, knows about popular culture. She thinks I would be really cool if I made it, but I had to pass."
However, he'll get an opportunity to show off any new moves for the upcoming "A Decade of Difference" concert, where Lady Gaga, Usher, The Edge, and Bono will be providing the music.
