March 13: William H. Macy and Felicity Huffman could be your landlords and neighbors

Actor William H. Macy, born 64 years ago today, and his wife, Felicity Huffman, recently put this lovely home above Los Angeles' Sunset Strip on the rental market.

The rental house (click here or on a photo to launch a slideshow) is next door to the home that they moved into in 1998, shortly after their marriage.

As you can see, they've spruced up the rental place quite a bit. Our slideshow includes a couple of the 2012 listing photos for comparison purposes. It looks like they kept a pair of feline statues as pool sentries, though.

Macy and Huffman paid $3.8 million for the house. They're asking $20,000 a month in rent.

The midcentury home has 4,566 square feet of living space, with four bedrooms, five bathrooms and what the rental listing calls an "attached guest suite."

Their "massive renovation of all the systems" included "new kitchen, new bathrooms, screening room, separate office suite, new sauna and spa along with contemporary bamboo and cork floors," according to the listing. It sits on a "grassy flat pad" of about an acre with "panoramic views of Los Angeles, day and night."
