Charlie Adam is not a popular young man at White Hart Lane right now. The Stoke midfielder put in a dreadful challenge on Paulinho during Tottenham's 3-0 win over The Potters on Sunday, which will keep the Brazilian midfielder out of action for a month with ankle ligament damage.

This is not the first time Adam has delivered a crunching tackle to a Spurs player. In 2011, he put Gareth Bale out of action for three months with a dreadful challenge and in July 2012 he injured the Welshman once again with a tackle from behind in a non-competitive pre-season game in Baltimore. Adam has also had altercations with Scott Parker and Jan Vertonghen, with his latest dirty play prompting the Lilywhites to write a letter of complaint to the FA. According to The Guardian, however, he will receive no punishment.

The former Liverpool and Blackpool star has insisted that he holds no specific vendetta against Tottenham on Twitter, but it is too late. Sandro is angry. And Charlie Adam wouldn't like Sandro when he is angry.

The bats**t crazy Brazilian took to Instagram on Tuesday, posting a threatening screengrab from Tottenham's excellent Halloween prank video. He accompanied it with the following caption:

Charlie Adams - THE BEAST IS WATCHING YOU!!!

Of all the people in the world you want watching you, Sandro is up there with Charles Manson and the troll from Ernest Scared Stupid. If Charlie Adam is smart, he won't go to sleep for the next three to four years.
