Time to ‘get lucky,’ Obama-style

President Barack Obama has covered the extremely catchy new Daft Punk tune, "Get Lucky."

Well, sort of. The site baracksdubs scoured the Web to find clips of Obama saying words that, strung together, re-create the lyrics to the song. Fadi Saleh, a student at the University of Tennessee and the man behind the dubbing, edited the words together and shared his Franken-tune with a grateful world.

This isn't the first time baracksdubs has used the voice of Obama to cover a popular tune. In 2012, Saleh sliced and diced the words of the president to produce this memorable cover of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe."

In a 2012 interview with MTV, Saleh said he enjoys reading the "zany responses and comments" to his videos.

From MTV:

One comment I get from time to time is the "too much time on your hands" comment, and all I have to say to that is that this isn't the only thing I'm involved with. And this is fun!

Earlier this year, baracksdubs found a way to turn words from Obama's various speeches and comments into the Pokemon theme song. It's about as awesome as you'd expect, which is to say, completely.
