San Diego fireworks fail: loud, up close and in HD (VIDEO)

By now you've probably heard about the Fourth of July fireworks display in San Diego, Calif., that was accidentally launched all at once last week. But you probably haven't seen it like this.

A video, uploaded to YouTube by Dan W. Roy, shows the now-infamous "Big Bay Boom" up close and in high-definition from the shore of Glorietta Bay.

"This is insane," a witness can be heard saying during the pyrotechnical onslaught, as confused onlookers--in beach chairs and on blankets--point to the spectacular explosion in the sky.

"This is the best fireworks show ever!" says another.

According to Garden State Fireworks, which produced the show, a signal that was sent to the barges to set the timing of the fireworks caused the entire show to be launched in about 15 seconds.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
