Man loses control of boat off coast of Australia

Captaining a boat has its rewards as well as its risks, as this unidentified man found out. He lost control of his boat off the coast of Australia—and most likely wound up unable to walk a straight line.

While it's unclear how it happened, the boat in the video was spinning around and around in a tight circle when a helicopter spotted it and captured the action on video. We're unsure if the authorities had to wait for the boat to run out of gas or if the man finally got control of his boat, but a short time later, marine police were able to rescue him.

One thing is for sure—the captain must have been rather dizzy by the time his misadventure on the open seas ended.

The helicopter pilot who spotted the man said: "I actually thought it was a whale."
