Teachers are generally pretty smart people. But they're human, and humans make mistakes. Like, for example, forgetting there are seven continents or that "pneumonia" begins with a "p."
Heck, they don't always know the name of the teacher whose classroom is three doors down the hall.
That seems to be the case in a video posted to YouTube several months ago by Andrew Patterson, who appears to be a teacher at Malvern Collegiate Institute in Toronto. It was recently featured on Digg.com.
The flummoxed reactions of the teachers seem real enough. At one point, an amusingly frustrated educator gets up and insists that she doesn't want to answer any more questions.
Still, not all ignorance can be considered a bad thing. When shown pictures of Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke, the educators are at a loss for names. In today's day and age, not knowing who Miley Cyrus is takes talent, kids.
Update: Looks like the video has been taken down. Too bad. It was fun while it lasted.
