Cat walks dog on leash (VIDEO)

Stranger things have happened than a dog and cat getting along. This is one of those things. In this video submitted by YouTube user DAFNA kopelis, a cat literally picks up the leash attached to a dog and begins walking the dog up a staircase.

Amazingly, the dog seems perfectly fine with this arrangement, following the kitty’s lead while the pair’s owner watches off camera, laughing in astonishment just like the rest of us.

And when the dog does pause, presumably in an existential crisis over the truly bizarre predicament, the cat gives an encouraging meow and the pair continue on their way.

Still, amazing as the video may be, it’s not quite as startling as seeing a cat on a leash.
