Channing Tatum battles terrorists in ‘White House Down’

Chiseled-body Channing Tatum is back in the explosive White House Down, an action-thriller film about USA exploding and crumbling into pieces.

Directed by Roland Emmerich—who also directed Independence Day, 2012, The Day After Tomorrow— the movie follows Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) who has been denied his dream job with the Secret Service protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx).

He sticks around the White House for a tour with his daughter but finds himself embroiled in a White House attack by paramilitary forces. The President’s life is endangered with the rogue attackers. With the government dissolving into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale and his muscles to save the president and the country.

White House Down was written by James Vanderbilt who also wrote The Amazing Spider-Man.
