Wanna Look Like Tim McGraw? Country Stars Reveal Rigorous Workout Routines

Ever since he quit drinking in 2008, Tim McGraw has become known for his great physique almost as much as his music. Although he looks fantastic, he certainly put in plenty of work to get his abs 8-pack ready.

Not only has he cut out the booze, he's shunned beef and carbs as well. And, if that didn't show enough dedication: He’s also adopted a rigorous workout routine that includes CrossFit and training sessions ... not once, not twice, but three times a day when he’s prepping for a tour.

As evident from recent photos -- such as one the singer posted on Instagram this week -- all that sweat  has really paid off. McGraw's amazing results actually inspired his crew as well as wife Faith Hill to get in on his commitment to fitness. His band now joins him doing CrossFit, and Hill plays a game of one-on-one basketball with her husband every day.

McGraw and Hill aren’t the only country stars who stay in shape with rigorous -- and unique -- workouts. McGraw's good pal and former tourmate Kenny Chesney does  a full 300 pushups a day. He also does a treadmill sequence that involves doing a series of sprints ... on an incline raised all the way up to the "10" level!

And let’s not forget the ladies: Carrie Underwood famously dropped two sizes after winning "American Idol" in 2005. She maintains her sleek look by keeping track of her vegetarian diet with a food journal and the LiveStrong app, in addition to exercising 4-6 times a week. One of her favorite workouts involves a series of different reps based on which suit she draws from a deck of cards.

If you admired Kacey Musgraves's enviable legs in her short dress at the Grammys this year, she achieves that result by practicing yoga on the road, led by none other than her steel guitar player.

And Taylor Swift, who told Vogue in 2012 that she disliked the gym, has been recently photographed hitting up Ballet Beautiful classes in Los Angeles.
