For all of you husbands and boyfriends (or perhaps wives and girlfriends, let's be equal-opportunity, here!) who sometimes feel they drop the ball on Valentine's Day, country star David Nail has an approach to the hearts-and-flowers holiday that just may work for you.
As Nail exclusively tells Ram Country, he covers his bases by simply leaving everything to the last minute. He's got a good excuse for this: "I'm a really bad planner," he explains, noting that whenever he tries to put something together ahead of time -- for any holiday, be it Christmas, New Year's Eve, or birthdays -- "it falls apart."
Hence, his fly-by-the-seat-of-the-pants approach. "I always try to do it spur of the moment," he says. "When I'm impulsive, I have my best ideas!"
True to form, Nail couldn't "nail" down what exactly he'd be doing for his wife this Valentine's Day. He's got this strategy down! But, he did admit, "I have a few ideas up my sleeve. We'll wait to see what happens!"
Nail will be releasing his latest album, I'm A Fire, on March 4. If you prefer not to employ the last-minute technique in regards to his new music, you can go ahead and preorder the album here. Happy Valentine's Day!
