‘Storage Wars Canada’ cast announced

"Storage Wars" fans, your time has come. After it was announced in April that we'd be given "Storage Wars Canada," the cast has now been revealed, making this venture even more of a beautiful, fast-talking reality.

According to an OLN press release, seven cast members will populate the 36-episode, half-hour series: one auctioneer and six professional bidders.

"OLN consistently delivers outrageous real life stories loaded with uncensored, unapologetic, and off-the-cuff characters," Claire Freeland, Director of Original Programming for Rogers Media, said in the release. "In 'Storage Wars Canada,' viewers can expect to see a group of fiercely competitive players with distinct personalities, ready to battle it out for the next locker."

So who are these distinct, competitive, and arguably fierce players?

First on the docket is Don "The Auctioneer" Reinhart, from Caledon, Ont. An auctioneer for the last 48 years, Reinhart lives by code, "If you don't play the rules my way, you don't play" and has a reputation for drawing crowds thanks to his loyal following of bidders.

The bidders, however, might be a tough crowd. Roy "The Instigator" Dirnbeck (from Mississauga, Ont.) plans to abide by the typical "I'm not here to make friends" mantra, and thanks to his successful courier business, he doesn't plan to "deal with garbage." That demeanor is further explained by his words to live by: "You know what, Canada? Start paying your bills or I'm gonna own your s---!" (Maybe calm down, guy?)

Ursula Stolf, from Woodbridge, Ont., is "The Knockout," and her expertise lies in flipping second-hand clothing for quite the profit. Introduced to the storage circuit by her father when she was a child, her motto is straight-forward and a little less confrontational: "Don't tell me I can't, 'cause I can; and don't tell me don't, 'cause I will."

But while Stolf and Reinhart have spent many a year fighting the storage wars, Cindy Hayden and Rick Coffill (a.k.a. "The Veterans") are notorious for their take-no-prisoners mentality thanks to their "unseemly tactics" that tend to scare off other bidders. Cindy's words to live by? "I'm usually a good girl, but if you cross that line at an auction, I'm coming after you." (This from a woman who, along with Coffill, bought a locker for $1350 only to find a $50,000 antique diamond ring inside of it. So yes, absolutely be afraid.)

Lastly, there's Paul and Bogart Kenny, a father-son team hailing from Toronto, who go by the nicknames "High Roller and The Kid." Paul spent 30 years playing poker professionally, so he's got some background in betting, winning, and earning some serious income, while Bogart is the only person who will seemingly stand up to him. "My wife says 'Don't be caustic, sarcastic, or demeaning to anybody today,'" says Paul of his motto. "Sometimes I make it through the day, sometimes I don't."

"Storage Wars Canada" is currently filming, and is reportedly going to premiere sometime this summer. In the meantime, who are you looking to root for? Or better yet: why do you think you'd make a better bidder than any of the cast members?
