Woman ducks back under railroad crossing arm and barely avoids speeding train (with video)

Dutch railway company, ProRail, released dramatic security video to warn pedestrians about the dangers of ignoring railroad crossing arms.

In the video, a woman is seen at the Oisterwijk station in the Netherlands ducking under the safety arms that are already lowered. With her back to an oncoming train, she stands upright and quickly realizes that a train is barreling down the tracks towards her. In the nick of time she dives back under the arm and avoids getting hit.

Before the near miss, several people are seen crossing the train tracks as the arms come down making it to the other side safely.

The security footage was reportedly recorded a few years ago. The company has plans to build a pedestrian tunnel at the station.
