Passersby rescue a woman before she throws herself off a bridge
Amazing CCTV footage was recently captured of a heart stopping rescue on an overpass bridge in China.
In the video, which can be viewed here on Live Leak, a woman is seen walking over to the side of the bridge and looking over the edge. She then hoists herself up with one leg, and at the same time a woman with an umbrella in hand is seen rushing over. By the time the Good Samaritan makes it to the side of the bridge, the woman pulls her entire body over the railing.
The quick thinking hero manages to grab onto the woman’s arm before she can let go. There is no audio on the recording, but it’s possible that the hero was calling for assistance from other passers-by, as a man is seen running towards them.
Soon after, others gather and eventually manage to lift the woman back to safety. She is then carried away off camera.
