Wayne George of North Carolina was out doing errands this past Tuesday when he was driving through a wooded area fairly close to his home. While on the road, in his car, he noticed something alarming. “I see a tree falling, a huge tree falling off to my right and it’s in a wooded area,” the 64-year-old told WGHP FOX 8 News. “I realized I can’t avoid it.” Mr. George didn’t avoid the tree, and his car got crushed, but somehow he’s doing just fine.
“In an instant, the transformer blew and it was a loud explosion,” Mr. George told WGHP. “There was fire on the ground and wires were everywhere and I thought, ‘I’ve got to get out of this car.’” He managed to crawl out before first responders arrived on the scene.
Mr. George, executive director of a Greensboro youth ministry, believes it’s a miracle he is unscathed from the incident. “I mean, it was divine intervention,” the North Carolina man told WGHP. “It was God.”
